Topic: Sony ex3 replacement?

Hi all,

My brother is looking to grab an ex3 soon, and while they're great cameras I was wondering if there's any hint of a replacement on the wind? They've been around for close to 4 years, I'd hate for him to buy one only to have it upgraded 6 months later.

God, I fucking hate the EX3. 

I don't have anything constructive to say.  I just wanted to publicly voice my distaste for that piece of shit camera.

I once spent three days running around coastal paths in pouring rain shooting a really bad short film on an EX3. I found it to be a good if damn heavy camera.
