Topic: The Ready Room Star Trek Podcast - with special guest Brian Finififter

I've been doing this podcast for a few weeks with http://trek.fm. We cover Trek news (there is some!), interview some in the Trek community, and then have DIF-ish long form discussion. As this week's topic was Abrams' Trek film, we invited on DIF's Brian to lend his special brand of opinion.

Thanks, fireproof! You should certainly check out this week. We talked to the team from Zero Room Productions that ALMOST made a Star Trek animated series in 2005/2006.

Well,
I managed to get mostly caught up on all the shows, as well as subscribed to it on ITunes. The formating is great, and I like the ease of navigating the topics.

I appreciate the all the news and comments about different Trek topics. I would not have know about the new Trek game or comics, which gives me something to look forward to, in addition to the new movie in 2012.

I'm hoping to add my thoughts regarding the 2009 movie, as I enjoyed the discussion of Abrams movie in the episode with Brian.

As I side note, I downloaded the album of "Five Year Mission," the band Greg and his buddy interview earlier in the show, and haven't been able to stop listening to it. It's a fun, rad album that I recommend if you think you might dig that kind of thing.

Glad to see you on the show again, Brian.

I am now considering watching DS9 again, based on the last show posted. I was more a TOS person, and enjoyed TNG, to some extent, and Voyager, which slowly faded as the show wore on.

Being given a new perspective on DS9 is nice, and this show is certainly to blame for it wink
