Re: New Liam Neeson movie "The Grey"

Did Liam Neeson check his retirement account 5 years ago and realize it was hovering on "Donald Pleasence" and decide to just take any job?

/hopes this isn't popular or Americans will go back to misspelling "gray".

Warning: I'm probably rewriting this post as you read it.

/Tries (unsuccessfully) to ignore the stab at the English language.

All this time on the forums must eat into your NASCAR watching and self-help book reading.

I think that movie looks cool, but yeah, Neeson has been in a ton of movies lately. Not that I mind. Liam Neeson is good.

I think everyone can agree that Liam Neeson's recent glut of work might just be a way keeping busy so he doesn't have time to think about his wife's death.

Oh, shit. You're right. It goes back further than that, but it's not the sudden rise I thought it was. He was doing two or three jobs a year until about 2005, when he did a bunch of stuff, then almost nothing in '06 and '07, then four or five jobs a year since. Natasha Richardson died suddenly after a ski accident in '09.

Wikipedia just says "Following a noticeable lull in his acting career, Neeson starred in the 2008 hit Taken, which brought his image back into the public eye...."

My new theory is that Irish Intelligence saw him in Batman Begins and recruited him for a two-year stint as an international super spy.

And then Blofeld murdered his wife on that ski slope.
