Right now on the BBC is the Jubilee Concert for the Queen. Grace Jones has just performed! That almost makes me wish I was watching it but on the other hand, I'm glad I don't pay the license fee

If you're not a legionnaire, I wouldn't worry about it.

/now always worried that making the obvious joke will result in alarms and Stephen Fry deducting 10 points from my score....

It's not contagious, and apparently they think they've found and treated the source, though it's apparently very difficult to culture that particular bacteria so it could be over a week before they're certain.

So you probably don't have to worry much unless you live in the area they're talking about.

In other news, the Trololo guy died

Ok, things I learned this week by Jimmy Laverne Aloysius Batman Brown aged 35 and 8 months.....

1. There's a woman at my new job that I just know I am going to have problems with.
2. There's a different woman at my work who is bloody gorgeous and I'm a bit in love with her already.
3. Never buy a Blu Ray player that is reduced because the box is bashed. There is a reason for the reduction, like the prongs of the fitted plug being missing.
4. Listening to Tysto's commentary for Licence to Kill, I discovered he has a man crush on Benicio Del Toro
5. I had the chance to go to the cinema today but decided against it. It turns out that there is absolutely sod all I want to see at the cinema at this moment in time.

I think I told you before, mate, I work in Argos. I had an eight week contract initially but Sunday is the start of my 9th week and I still have shifts for the next two weeks

On the "Man on a Ledge" DVD there is no commentary for the film, but Elizabeth Banks does a commentary on the trailer...
