Re: Release, Record: 11/9
I was wondering when someone was gonna ask. Only took until Wednesday.
We talked about it at length on sunday in the chat, but obviously you chose to ignore that.

Can I make a request? For those that don't have Twitter or Facebook, can you still let us know what recording is upcoming on the forums or somewhere on the site?
Yessir.
Next weekend, not sure what day yet, we're doing Twister and Speed.
YAY! A Jan De Bont DOUBLE FEATURE!!!!!!!!!
He didn't say they're commentaries. He said they're doing Twister and they're doing speed.
$50 bucks on Brian. Also $50 on Trey throwing his back out.
I love this man so much sometimes.
They're commentaries. But we should have Twister and speed around just in case we need to fill time.
Sorry. I thought this was some sort of fund-raising venture for Pink Five.
Yay! I love Speed and dislike Twister, bring it on!

When people were suggesting Twister in the chat I honestly thought that they meant the guys should livestream a game of it.
that would be hilarious. I say do The Dark Knight Rises before you all leave for Christmas break.
Oh gods Zarban. Twister while on speed...
My brain just melted a little bit.
Don't do drugs, kids
*cough*
Fantastic picks this week!
Must read Empire article "The Life And Death Of Last Action Hero": http://www.empireonline.com/features/last-action-hero
Die Hard’s director. Lethal Weapon’s writer. And The Terminator himself. Last Action Hero should have been bulletproof. Instead, it brought a studio to its knees, sent its cast and crew insane and proved, really quite conclusively, that some movies are not... too big to fail.
That's a great article. The end product may have ended up flawed, but I think Last Action Hero was way ahead of its time, and most of it holds up pretty well. I think if there's a disappointment its just that under the right circumstances it could've been a genre masterpiece (if the movie-within-the-movie was a believable B-action movie that the kid is navigating, the way the original script apparently was planned). As it is, its enjoyable and has a lot of memorable sequences, certainly not anything those involved should be ashamed of.
Honestly, I think most of what the movie was trying to do went over people's heads at the time.
My friends and I are always quoting this one, and Arnie as Hamlet is still a film I'd pay to see.
So, no release this week?
There will be shortly, I just dropped the ball yesterday.
