Glass Trap With A Vengeance, Live Free Or Glass Trap, A Good Day To Glass Trap... aren't those awesome?
But pity the warrior who slays all his foes...

Live Free or Glass Trap-sounds like Office Space with guns
A moustache-twirling villain being terrified by the immorality of ordinary people isn't really a new concept. I vaguely remember an old Russian novel called The Master And Margarita (I probably read it in high school). Part of it describes Satan's visit to the Soviet Union. Satan is astonished by the evil of the communist regime created by so-called "normal people". Banality of evil...
Continuing the meta them from he commentary. It strikes me that we may all be in Arnold's movie. As you guys summarized he had a completely impossible, perhaps heroic rise to the top. Where nothing could touch him. And we are not aware of it. Could the meaning of life the universe and everything, just be because McT god is making us as a Swarzneggar(?) vehicle? We wouldn't notice....
wait isn't Expendables sort of last action hero two and three?
The EXPENDABLES films aren't satire. They're more like JACK SLATER 5 and 6.
The Expendables 2 is Jack Slater making a movie about Jack Slater.
I think I've basically only seen Charles Dance in LAH but with that movie, and that picture, I think it's safe to say he is a pretty cool guy.

I think the sequel to The Glass Trap would have been The Aluminum Trap. Then The Concrete Trap. Then The Digital Trap. Then The Bear Trap.
Give Hollywood SOME credit.

Here in London, he gives regular poetry readings at the British Library. The monthly event is called Josephine Hart's Poetry Hour if anyone's interested. Charles Dance's impeccable RP English gets him all sorts of work.

And finally, the movie where John McClane has to prevent all of LA from getting venereal disease: The Clap Trap.
...why is Tywin Lannister in a latex miniskirt...I am so confused...

Looking on IMDb, I'm actually surprised at how few movies named The Last Something have had sequels.
Whereas, we're up to Final Destination 5, and the Final Fantasy video games actually have a branching series of sequels, with things like Final Fantasy X-2 being the follow-up to Final Fantasy X, but distinct from Final Fantasy XI. (Although, to be fair, 'sequel' might not be the right term to describe how successive Final Fantasy games relate to one another.)
I do wish that, following Highlander's tag line of "There can be only one", Highlander 2's had been "Oops, there's another one, apparently".

A bit of trivia here, at least for Final Fantasy series-it was called that because it was going to be the last game for that studio before it went under. The game was such a success that it saved the company and the game series continued (much like the never ending story, but in video games).
I'm still waiting for the Final Destination where its the first commercial space shuttle or something
