So, when's the Clone Wars commentary coming out?

I have made it a goal to live my entire life without ever seeing that film.

I'll probably fall off the wagon sooner or later, succumbing to curiosity in a moment of weakness, but for now my resolve remains strong.

HA!

We said we'd probably end up doing it, but I don't think anyone committed to a time.  My wife is about to poop out our son, so I would miss it if it were now.

congratulations eddy!  Is this your first kid?  hope all goes well.

on the star wars se,  i'd rather erase them from my memory.  They hurt too much.  And I thought they were going to give everyone ample time to read the books and watch the LOTR flicks before doing a marathon run.

That happened to me a week or two ago with G.I. Joe.  It's on Netflix streaming; I wouldn't have gone out and rented it, but if all I've got to do is click a button, I'm more willing to give a bad movie a chance.  It was alright, a bit too heavy with character flashbacks, and a lot of badly gratuitous action movie tropes, but for the most part the cast realize what movie they're making.  There were a couple of interesting ideas dealing specifically with, well, the "rise" or origin of Cobra, nice setups and call backs.  Wasn't left feeling like I'd wasted two hours of my life, but I don't feel compelled to ever watch it again.

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

I saw G.I. Joe at the cinema and I actually liked it........

The best part about GI JOE is there's no need for DIF to do a commentary, as going by the trailer you can just watch the film using the Team America commentary smile
(if the fact the two trailers sync up perfectly is an accident, Matt and Trey are even more brilliant then we thought they were)

Ahh, the joy of being at work on Saturday.

Well at least I am at a place where they don't mind to much if I stream video at my desk, so I still get to "attend".

Had a very full chat room today, and I'm glad it was at its fullest for JEDI, because I'm really happy with that commentary. Thanks to the 25+ that came out! Sorry if I missed anybody's questions.

I fell asleep an hour before the live show started and didn't get there until halfway through Hellboy.

Just watched/listened to the Jedi commentary though, and it was really good. Now I'm horribly depressed that I wasn't in the chat for it.

Chatroom was great fun! Jedi was terrific and Hellboy was fine; lots of good discussion even when it wasn't on-topic. Thanks!

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

There was a discussion about the experience and effects of snorting pixie stix during the live commentary today.  I had this video sitting around on a flash drive from when I was 17.  I apologize in advance for the mustache and I have no worthy explanation.

[03:18] Me: Hey remember that thing about snorting pixie stix?
[03:18] Teague: yeah.
[03:19] Me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-rl4Uai31k
[03:26] Teague: wow.
[03:26] Teague: that's amazing.
[03:26] Teague: post that in release/record.
[03:26] Teague: cloe, the whole time, was cringing and shouting at you to stop.

Virtual drink virtually accepted. I'm certain—certain—one of these spec screenplays for the Asylum will get greenlit. And then it's "Goodbye business consulting... Hello, Hollywood!"

hey teague, when you type up the description for ROTJ, could you tell us where the pause/ unpause point is?  I couldn't hear what you said during the commentary.  It sounded like everyone was talking over you when you explained it.  Thanks from maybe your only hearing -impaired listener.

I'm hearing-impaired as well. Can barely hear anything using just my left ear. And would you know it... it's always my right ear/headphone that breaks first.

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

I went partially deaf in my left ear for a month or two this year, it was going on when I went to the Rally with Dorkman and JayHair. That's some terrifying shit, especially in a crowd. You want 360° hearing.

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

I only hear out of one ear, and about 60% at that; or so I'm told.  Whenever someone calls my name and they're not in my eye line, I start looking around trying to locate the person.  That's 180º hearing for ya.
