Yeah, the UK youtube venn diagram intersects a lot. Example: I joined a motorbike ride out in the south west of England and bumped into 3 moto-vloggers. I do find Tom Scotts longer format 'trying new things' adventures a little bit cringe. But, since I've already shook the mans hand, I will now doff my cap for giving it a go.

Also, the song slaps.

I mean you wouldn't be off piste - Vulfpeck are similarly talented muscians and make equally wonderful music.

Thought I'd cheer myself up with evrything thats going on by pretending it's Christmas

A bad comparison, perhaps. But the level of video post just reminds me of...

As someone who also missed the whole Fraggle Rock thing growing up and discovered it as an adult, I can highly recommend giving it a watch. And I am sooooo excited for this!!

I caught it as a kid, and this is as much as I remember of it - the crude childhood playground lyrics for the theme

Lyrics:-

Down at fraggle rock
Grab a fraggle by his cock
Swing him 'round your head
'til that fuckers dead
Throw him in the bin
sellotape the bastard in...

I can't say they were clever lyrics but we all new them on the playground - I havent thought about that in a long time.

Also, which end is the front facing iphone camera. I can never tell where to look

Drink everytime I mention my hatred for gravel or I'm blown away by the scenary.

Another clip from that day with the wrong ND.

Pretty, but quickly turned into a ride that was a little more than I'm comfortable with - going down uber steep hills on this tall top heavy adventure bike o' mine.

(you can see some aberations when the ND messes with the stabilization but, 4k ftw)

Yeah I could cut this to be more exciting but who has time for that, so pretty much uncut clips

I'm game

Enroute

I'm down. I might be a bit hit and miss schedule-wise since I've gone back to being a subject matter expert for test and trace here - record covid numbers woot woot. Ugh. Just let me know.

If you ignore that I had an ND filter that was wrong and had to seriously handbrake the shit out of the 4k 60 HEVC codec so my 'craptop' didn't melt while editing it - and the sound is awful - and only vague memories of a factual event in time... watch.

So, ignore how it looks, sounds and the content, basically. More of an isnight into my internal monolugue when riding my bike.

Don't try and be eloquent when wrestling with the English coutryside, I've found

GlaDoS would have been fitting being that it's insane and desparately trying to kill me tongue

When you get out of the city it's lovely.

One of my bikes is named Dong. It's a chinese bike and I have a small obsession for cold war era misssiles and silos, so named it Dong - the chinese for missile. Knowingly for the silly jokes around 'riding a dong'.

My Triumph Tiger was going to be called GlaDOS, cos, this is a Triumph! But, the Tiger name prevailed and now its Tigger. Winnie the poo now public domain - unrelated.

Okay, in lieu of doing any editing; I'm just gonna post the overly sentimental things my iPhone automatically comes up with.  Mostly everything is out of context or alternative snaps no one should see.

Again, I had no part in this, not even the almost relevant titles, so not really apt for the creation thread unless AI counts...

I think the main problem I have with it is they've named it another Matrix colon 'R' word. I ain't ever gonna remember which one is which.

Happy New Year!

Missing a bunch of harmonies but it was all I could be arsed to do in the time I had

Having to break it down cos my phone will only cope with 3 video clips on screen so I had to bounce down and recomp for every 3, it was a nightmare to do so every take was a one take and hope thing.

I can't see NPH saying 'nemesis' and not think of Captiain Hammer.

The IO?! What ever the real world bits were dull but that was a hang up of mine on the other sequals.

I didn't mind it as a watch once and forget it movie. People head-firsting out of sky scrpaers and face planting made me giggle, but yeah, that's what you would have them do.

The fight scenes were forgettable. The dialog, iffy. The plot, meh. Got a little bored at points and felt the movies lengh though I still enjoyed it. Not a classic though.

Overall, a bit of weird film, tonally, but would reccomend if they slimmed it down.

Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas

Tabletop sim and the world is our oyster...

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd want to play it on tablet or phone

I've never played it either but it was the only one I recognised and looks fun from what I've seen. I'm down for anything. Heavy help may be required.

Id be down for Among Us

Insert 'I've got time Mr. Incrdible . Gif'

As a future game suggestion: No More Jockeys!

Alex Horne - creator of Taskmaster and his friends' and also well known comedians lockdown invention.

Watch it and try and figure out the rules. (rules are in the description but, columbo that shit first)

(not sure how that would work with a bigger group but a fun thing and mainly an excuse to hang out)

I'm bored more than anything else. New place. Don't know the area or people here, so I'm solidly in.
