I've never wanted to kill Peter Dinklage before... but NOONE rolls their eyes at Firefly while I'm around.

The last shot of series seven made me very happy....

Also, Uhura is not coloring book paper white.

I'm not sure how I feel on this one yet. Part of me is is with DocSub, it was a fun movie. I had more fun watching Star Trek than I did watching Iron Man 3 (which I wouldn't call an ok movie, but I would call a "fun" movie). The other part of me is seeing all the cheap tricks a gimmickes. I need to see it again to see if they completely ruin the movie for me.

I think this movie needs to cut act III. I like the act one "we have to hunt down a terrorist" movie. I like Peter Weller as the real bad guy the terrorist was trying to stop. But I don't think I like how they treated Kahn. I was ok with "now he's going to help the good guys," because we the audience know who he is (left over emotions from Star Trek II) but the characters don't. That was good tension. To me the movie falls apart when they go, "yup, he's the bad guy too!" 
I would love the shit out of this movie if it was just acts 1 & 2 with a 10 minuite wrap up, and Kirk and Kahn kept to thier deal.  ( It always bothers me when two characters make a deal and then both break it,...  I mean really where are all the honest people in the world.  )

I still think JJ will do Star Wars ok. I'm just really glad it has different writters.
