500 Quatloos that the DVD will have to be destroyed!

Wait - how much would the bidding be for a copy autographed by me, Renee, AND associate editor/doomed helicopter co-pilot Brian Finifter?  Hmmm?

Woah woah woah, I don't know if I want to be associated with this film in such a permanent way. I mean, that DVD with my signature will just be out there...floating...

And unfortunately, I ended up being credited as an assistant editor as opposed to an additional editor, so sadly, that's how history will remember my contribution to this film...

Not necessarily. That's a recurring issue in Walking Dead; using loud firearms has a tendency to draw more zombies in as they react to the noise, making silent melée weapons the preferred choice.

But, of course, at its break neck speed, Snyder's film doesn't even stop to consider the point.

400 quatloos!

I'm going to assume that you've mistakenly swapped mine and Dorkman's voice in your head.

Similarly, does anyone know any websites that have pitches and show bibles for television, particularly for sitcoms?

I found a good site for TV pilot scripts and stake a claim to the Community pilot being a personal favorite: Link.

It's back now, maybe it just didn't load properly for me that one time for some reason?

It was there earlier, but now it's gone.

Fun fact, the other week a friend came to visit. He's a huge Scrubs fan and the hospital is five minutes from our place, so we went and checked it out. We ended up walking around to the front (the side they always shot faces away from the street) to find the door completely open and nobody around. So we walked around inside the Scrubs hospital for a little while.

Yeah, I'd replace some of that food with water. You can go weeks without eating, only days without water. And think about it, if all public utilities were shut down tomorrow, where would you find clean, drinkable water? Where would you find food? I think it would be relatively easy to loot the thousands of 7-11's in the world for twinkies and what not. I don't know where I'd find water after those first few days.

Otherwise, I'd add a flash light with a red gel (so as not to wreck one's night vision), a shovel, and some kind of Leatherman multi-purpose tool.

EDIT: Oh, and if necessary to be separate from the Leatherman, a can opener. It doesn't take up much more space but will give you access to all that food in those abandoned grocery stores other people won't be able to get to just because they didn't think of it.

I actually like Space Cowboys. The magic bean is the Skylab sized secret Russian nuke platform, give it that and the rest is believable enough, minus Tommy Lee Jones' ultimate fate. I rewatched it not too long ago and the fake zero-g is not great, but otherwise it's fun.

Maybe I'm willing to give it more leeway than most because they actually knew what Skylab was.

Have a lot to say about Dawn of the Dead, do you?

Wasn't implying I had all the say, just noting my point of view for the record.

Plus, it may have gotten to the point where the only way to fix it was to start over (if not the entire movie, at least the second half). When the only other option is to get another boat and that's not possible, rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic suddenly gains appeal smile

That's not true, as we talked about on the commentary, some relatively simple editing would've saved the end of that movie. It sounds like they just overthought it and lost the forest for the trees.

Though I've heard that Boyle's intention all along was to make a monster movie, this account seems to negate that notion.

This is because people hear 'editor,' and they think of the verb 'edit,' and they translate it to 'remove or cut,' and think that an 'editor' is 'someone who makes things shorter.'

Because people are idiots.

Thanks, Greg. Glad you spelled that out for us.

I love LOVE LOVE Edinburgh. Someday I will be rich enough to pick up and move the entire city - climate and all - to where ever I'm living at the moment.

Really? I was in Scotland once on the Fourth of July and the radio station was doing a whole thing with it - a theme day if you will.
