I quite enjoyed it. All the puns hit perfectly, the gags were genuinely funny, and the vfx were top notch. The story wasn't all bad either smile

Mason, eh? He doesn't approve of it just yet.
His actual name, given to him by himself, is Stormageddon; Dark Lord of All.

*Kidding aside: Congrats to the happy family!

I think Clara looked pretty darn cute in tonight's episode. Just sayin'.

I don't hate Clara, in fact, I actually like her this series. Didn't, so much, in the last one. I don't blame her for reacting the way she has been lately, this Doctor is a bit of a bastard. I love him. Also, Capaldi sneaked a wee Tom Baker impression in during an early scene of The Doctor talking to himself. Despite my non-hating of Clara, I am glad this episode was more Doctor/Capaldi heavy.

impression? That was spot on, mate. They might as well have had Baker there on set, delivering the lines.

And also, Jelly Babies.

I liked the episode. As per usual, the resolution is a bit poor, but overall a really good episode. Also, was fun that they did indeed mention that the 11th Doctor did get that phone call about the Egyptian goddess loose on the Orient Express. In space. So it's nice that they at least remember smile

I think the parasitical spiders were a bit much. Sure, they could be parasites, and shaped like space spiders, but they obviously have no use for webs(as in catching smaller goes), as all they are supposed to do, is feed off the giant space dragon thingy.

I like the egg idea. No, I love it. It's just poorly executed. The mass of the moon could arguably shift if it was heavier, sure, but they also pick on the idea that the moon's been there for a hundred million years, but only in the recent 20 or so years has the creature matured enough. You could arguably say that the shift in mass was because the dragon was forming a new egg to replace the old, but the creature that flew out of the moon was nowhere near big enough to contain a moon sized egg, and it's also revealed that it dropped the egg off after it flew away. So it makes no sense.

As for Clara; yes please. Take her away. Now. I've never enjoyed her stay, but right now, it's time to leave. The doctor is fine. He's a bit moody and rude, but it's not as much Capaldi I have an issue with as it is Moffat.

What's the spoiler range on the podcast? I'd like to listen but I've only seen Season 1. I'll see Season 2 when it's out on Blu-Ray, and Season 3 is starting soon (if you don't count the leaked spanish episodes...).

Read this as a Spanish dubbed action show was on the tv in the other room. Excellent timing, Phi.

Would you please stop quoting Twilight, Zarban? It's making us uncomfortable!

Hey all.
As you may or may not know, I made a short thing called "Whoish! Part one" some years ago.
I then went on to take that idea, and shape it into a web series of sorts, but then after all failed and fucked up, we released what would have been "The Traveler - Episode 1" as "Whoish! Part 2" instead.

However. I've rebranded it as "The Traveler", and we shot episode 2 this summer. It'll be out on November 8, but in the mean time, here's a brand spanking new teaser!

Please help us by liking, sharing and commenting on that video, and let's try together and make it as big as we possibly can!

Also, there will be 6 parts in total, so any support you can give is great!

I'm in the same position as Saniss here.

When my aunt passed away last year, she died of cancer. We were relatively close, and it hit home, but we had 6 months to prepare ourselves, mentally, and when she passed away, it wasn't that big of a deal. Everyone had said their goodbyes etc, and we moved on with our lives.

With Mike, I find myself constantly checking the fundraiser, the forums, and my inbox in case any updates are pending. I worry all the time about him, his condition and well-being.

AND I HAVE NEVER EVEN MET THE GUY. He was on our anniversary episode, and that was fun, but apart from that, I never even talked with the guy. I just adore him so damn much that I seemingly care more about him than close family.

This whole thing is fucked up, and I can't stand it.

And that's ME. On the other side of the planet. Literally a nobody. I can't even begin to imagine how you guys, and his family/roommate/boyfriend are holding up.

Yeah, the Nordic countries have pretty great health care.
Also noticed that the goal for the fundraiser has skyrocketed to 500k. If that's even remotely close to the actual amount needed, it'll be cheaper to have doctors from Norway fly over the pond.

Horrible, horrible news.
What's even worse is that the health care system in the US is horrible enough that the fund goal on the site is an actual realistic number, if not too little.
I've already donated, and encouraged everyone I know to do the same. My brother, having no relation to either FIYH, or even TFn, donated right away. Every little bit helps, and it's important that we all help.

Now I know it's redundant as you've probably all done so by now, but I still feel it's something that should be said.

If there's anything I/we can do, never hesitate to let us know. The members on this forum is probably the best gathering of people there ever was, and I know we'll all do our part, in any way, shape or form should it be asked.

My thoughts go to Michael, hoping for a speedy, full recovery, and I can't wait to hear his voice back on FIYH.

Edit: there are literally 100 members logged on right now. I can't remember ever seeing a number that high on here. We're here for you. All of us.

I think this season is already better than the bulk of season 7.
I didn't care too much for "Deep Breath", but the latter episodes have been mostly right up my alley. They're not favorites at all, but great episodes all around. I'm still not sold on Capaldi's Doctor, but I wasn't on Smith until the very end either. Moffat seems to be the recurring project.

Well, I was never given the go ahead with my plates. Granted, Zarban liked 'em, but it was never confirmed whether or not I should reshoot.

Any composers around?
I've wrapped video post on Whoish part 3, it's 6 minutes long, plus credits, and I'm looking to get original music for it. As it stands now, there's temp music from Doctor Who, and while I think it fits, I'd rather get someone to write some great, original stuff instead.

As for picture quality, it was shot on raw, and LOOKS great. The acting is all me, so I guess that's great too, and I've heard it's a quite good piece. (By Owen, Faldor and Mastermike, at least). We're currently working on ADR, but again, there's the music.

Unfortunately, I'm not full of cash, and if I were, I'd gladly pay, but I can't, so I won't. I also understand that nobody really wants to work for free, but I figured this'd be the perfect place to ask.

PM me for details and a copy of the short as it stands now.

Alright.
As for delivery:
1080p?
PNG?
Transparency?
Audio?

If I'm matching anything to real plates, I'll need the separate plates for comping.
