I was kidding.

Unless the notion of you masturbating while choking yourself with scifi franchises is something you're actually concerned about.

hmm

Not a fan, myself. I've said before if we do one we'd try to get Bertocci on to talk about Two Gentlemen of Lebowski.

Been seeing a lot of it lately.

Not exactly sure why you want anyone else to watch it. Keep your weird sci-fi urges to yourself, until one day when we find you, dick in your hand, hanging dead by the neck from twisted together TNG artwork with a toppled stack of SG-1 DVD's inches below your feet.

This was fun, thanks everyone for coming out and chatting lively with us, hopefully it was as entertaining as four dudes at microphones could possibly be.

And now we're in the chat room talking.

The way it goes is we use the Down in Front chat room (which is usually just used for randomly scheduled chattings and the like), which offers a live chatroom for everyone listening (including Matt here in the studio), and a video/audio broadcast of enjoyable quality.

The file released as the episode for the week, later that evening, will be of normal high quality.

It'll be available that night as a normal download.

We talk plenty about this movie, but we've also taken the liberty of talking about every other kung fu movie ever. Now we never have to again!

I have that with Eddie Doty.

But seriously, oh hell yes.

Remember, we're spoiler free. You can easily make black, highlight-to-read text by using [ color=#000000 ] this format [ /color ] (without the spaces.)

Branco:

The last third, specifically the sequence where they all start holding hands as they slide down towards the incinerator, and then very strongly at the last moment where they're all getting played with by Andy and the little girl.

I know it from UHF. Badgers.

Sub question, rate Toy Stories. And with a sentence or two of reasoning.

I go, TS3, TS1, TS2.

Toy Story 3 destroyed me, which is more than I can say for the other two. I grew up with Toy Story, and Toy Story 2 was kind of moving (especially when they stopped trying to be discrete and had a sweet, acoustic pop song narrate the heartbreak of Jesse's world), but Toy Story 3 made me cry like the woman I am. I'm a ridiculously sentimental fag when it comes to these sorts of stories, and I blubber like a child at the Fantasmic show at Disneyland, so I might be on the fringe here. I can see arguments that TS3 is retreading aspects of the first two, but I see it more as - look, these stories are inherently similar anyway, and I see Toy Story 3 as the one they got right.

1. Monsters, Inc.
2. Toy Story 3
3. The Incredibles
4. Up
5. Wall-E
6. Toy Story
7. Finding Nemo
8. Ratatouille
9. A Bug's Life
10. Brave
11. Cars
12. Toy Story 2
13. Cars 2

Very cool. Personally, I would have gotten the renders to where they're at, done the layout, and then done painterly FX over them in Photoshop. (Not filters, mind you.) Still, classy shit.

I think he's right, I remember a scene where Will Smif and Jeff Goldblum are discussing the controls, plus more time spent with Randy Quaid's ailing son.

The theatrical cut is probably the one we'll be doing.

One.

Favorite movie from the 80's. Name it, defend your position. You also get a runner up. (Bear in mind, I mean shitty, childish movies. Raiders, Empire, and Back to the Future clearly win.)

I go with Explorers. The first two thirds carved lines in my brain that would later be filled by great things. (The last third bugged me then and bugs me now.)

Runner up? Spaceballs. Trey can not take that from me.
