I shall attempt to stay up the entire 24-ish hours, studying for finals be damned.

Currently going through all of the audiobooks in preparation for this.  Currently half way through Order of the Phoenix.  Never read the books and I've only watched the movies once or twice each.

Read by Stephen Fry or Jim Dale?

Obligatory mention of Liam Neeson's monologue from Taken:

"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. "

I don't think it's that improbable that someone on the other side of the world hasn't been exposed to Bill Nye, as awesome as he may be.

Meh, I don't think it's too much to ask for people to ensure their pictures/videos/gifs actually work before posting them.

I really dig that one.  Winter Soldier looks great and it's not an obvious reveal if you don't know the story.

I agree, coming from someone who has very little knowledge of the Marvel Universe. It's refreshing to see a trailer that doesn't reveal the whole movie.

I'm not sure if you are all nuts for subjecting yourselves to this arduous task or outstanding for doing this for such a noble cause (I guess that makes you a boob of Harry Potters?). I'll see what I can scrounge up in terms of a donation, and if I can provide any other sort of help, I can/will.

I'm basically just echoing the popular sentiment about this movie, but I'll repeat it anyway; this movie is very well done and I hope I never see it again.

I believe it's referring to the former city/fertile land that was decimated by Smaug when he first arrived at Erebor.
