I did convert some of the episodes way back when in audacity by converting the speed and pitch shift but there were still sync issues and it was agreed that each episode required a different speed change to sync which rather made the whole thing impossible

which I think is why Holden stopped putting PAL copies on the site

I gave up watching the movies pretty quick because of PAL / NSTC sync issues.

So wait, the solution to people not understanding Bane's voice was to have him speak ... a bit posh?

My only friend with a car lives over an hour away and I don't currently have any spare cash for train fair to go and visit.

Time Crimes is great. Someone on NP2k recommended it and I borrowed it from my old boss. One of the cleverest uses of time travel I've seen in a movie in rather a long time.

1. How do you talk? Fast? Slow? Loud? Quiet?
kinda fast kinda loud
2. What's your accent?
Southern English
3. Are you most comfortable playing serious, pissed, wacky, annoyed, funny? If you'd rather do something specific like this, let me know, otherwise you'll just get a part and do your best.
I'm usually quite deadpan.
4. Do you have specific car limitations? Like, no back seat?
I'll have to use a friends car also
5. Problem with profanity?
Nah
Also, 6. Pick a movie you love. Doesn't have to be your favorite, but one that you just freaking love.

I'm up for acting in this, I've got a really cool idea for where I could get out of the car as well.

I once spent three days running around coastal paths in pouring rain shooting a really bad short film on an EX3. I found it to be a good if damn heavy camera.

I might give Dune a go, I watched half the Lynch film and wasn't impressed then saw how large the actual book was and got intimidated!

really looking forward to listening to ROTK as I crack on with Dragon VFX work, These have been great so far. I was expecting half a good commentary and then the rest would just be getting drunk and being very silly smile
