Dorkman, had I calfskin gloves I would be inclined to slap you with them and demand satisfaction at dawn.
And afterwards, we'd duel.

My understanding of the intermission was a short, concise window into topics. Something for people who don't want to invest 2 hours learning about the abortion that was Howard the Duck for example.
What's wrong with that 30 minute conversation driving people back to the forum or mainsite to discuss further? Engaged traffic could lead to sponsorship by companies relevant to our interests (for example), or at the very least build the DiF community.
Cake. Eat it or keep it.

No, 30 minutes. You want more you pay them.
I caved over the weekend and bought an AirPort Extreme and AppleTV.
I SAW MOULIN ROUGE ON MY TELEVISION FOR THE FIRST TIME! IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SENT FROM SPACE! MAGICS!
On an unrelated note, it seems I have to HandBreak all my DVD's again and hard code the subs. The little black box doesn't appear to handle subtitles or multiple audio tracks. At all.
Lightwave is seriously fun. I haven't used it for a few years (since v. 6.5 or 7), but you should learn to play with it.
Get the software by any means necessary, and buy a license when you begin to make money from it. Ethically it's a little grey but you're effectively still a student with no money. Your reel is your meal ticket.
Unlike Autodesk or the Foundry, Newtek don't have a programme for students to use a learning edition or obtain significant discount (afaik). If we were talking about learning Nuke or any of the Autodesk range, I wouldn't suggest piracy - it's just not required.
So by liking both Postal & Blankman I ... win?
If this is winning, why do I feel so dirty?
Postal was pretty great, in an awful way.

Room for one more?
Just watched the Priest trailer. Holy stabby avenger it looks awesome*.
*bad, b-grade awesome.
If I could sing, or was vaguely pretty, I'd have you make my music video.
That's because druids wouldn't. fucking. sparkle.
Vampire films are dead, pending a Pirates-like reboot.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!
You could also check out Choice, a consumer advocacy and advice service started in 1960.
There is a market for this, but first you need to establish some credibility. Customers want to engage with a person, not data points. What about some free advice on a youtube channel?
I am unashamedly hard for this.
I'd just like to clarify a point in my own point of view. I don't believe religion is required to temper "baser instincts", or any other formalised structure for that matter. Empathy alone will pretty much do it.
I like to think of myself as a humanist; I've no spirituality but think that if someone has a belief system that helps them through the tough times, more power to them. Occasionally wish I had something similar.
I don't have the belief gene; tried it, couldn't do it.
The highly anticipated second film in The Luggage Trilogy – Briefcase 2: The Briefcasening returns the same great cast to the screen in another high octane hand luggage adventure.
Max Adrenaline (Jason Statham) wakes in his luxury Shanghai apartment to find *another* briefcase waiting for him, it’s contents a mystery. A note from his old nemesis Mr Fu (Bernie Kopell) details the terrible fate that will befall the Chinese foreign investment capital if the “Gwai lo action figure” cannot unravel its secrets in time.
What follows is an edge of the seat parkour-wushu-muay thai-Brazillain Jui Jitsu thrill ride across Shanghai. Will Max be able to unlock the case? Will his devastating assistant Fanny (Olga Kurylenko) be able to handle the adrenaline? Will Shanghai ever be the same again?!

Keeping Bronzeberg
In the summer of 1974 mankind will meet their maker, and put a pin in it!
Young Idahoan, James Walker, lives with his grandmother on the family farm after a tragic accident which took the lives of his parents. James struggles at the local school, the anger he feels at his parents deaths makes him lash out at all around him. Eventually he is befriended by Emily Taylor, an introverted girl and keen lepidopterist who brings James out of his shell via her love of butterflies.
Their friendship blossoms and James notices his feelings towards Emily begin to change. Keen to impress her, he sets out into the fields of Idaho intent on finding the perfect butterfly to pin, and thus capture her heart.
James walks for hours and eventually stops by a pond under the shade of a tree. There he feels a sense of profound peace and wellbeing, and is approached by god. God introduces himself as Bronzeberg; a tiny winged man and creator of all things. They talk about life, how being a god doesn’t mean omniscience, and how pretty Emily is underneath the glasses and hair, Bronzeberg wants to help his young friend, and creates a butterfly for James to capture.
James realises that while butterflies are neat, presenting Emily with the creator of the universe is likely to be far more impressive. James nets him, puts him in the killing jar, and drops in the ether-soaked cotton wool.
The next day James presents Emily with his prize, a mounted god, pinned and framed. Emily loves the gift and they walk together into the sunset.

This.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Brian is displaying an autoimmune response to awesome.
To be clear, I don't *like* star wars. Never have.
