Best not then. Probably not the best of form considering why we have to do this in the first place.

I went back and reread what I had missed when I was at work, and I'd like to resuggest Kyles idea of "Creative Hindsight Commentary"

Except without the commentary part as the discussion following it ripped that idea to shreds (Rightfully so imo).

But there's definitely something to "Creative Hindsight" that could work.

Well..in light of all ... uh.... that /\

I would like for us all to just pause for a moment and marvel at how once again the (artist formally known as dif) Community has once again manged to prove that on a moment's notice it can turn into one of the most creative, effective think tanks the world over (literally).

So bravo to us. When the world is suddenly threatened by an alien force that requires a long list of film based puns, we'll be the first call, mark my words.

I do like 'Movie Repairmen'.

IDK, everytime i hear that it kinda sounds like "Hey we're here and we're gonna fix your movie!" automatically implying that they only do movies that are bad and need fixing, or that the only thing they talk about is screenwriting, which we all know isn't true in the slightest. It feels limiting...also clunky. It really doesn't roll off the tongue or stick in the mind.

Whoah, k, hold up. Let me make it perfectly clear that was a joke.

I will not have DiF be renamed to a pale attempt at a jab at George Lucas. Alright?

Just not gonna let that one happen.

I keep thinking there has to be some form of "We're Professionals, But Not At This." that could work.

I just can't see the shape of it hmm

That /\ What he said.

It works for what you were using it for where the discussions were literally just the intermissions between episodes, and it was just basically a side project underneath the mantle of Down in Front. But it captures absolutely nothing about what, we currently call, "Down in Front" is actually about.

I would be happy with any of these.

But no seriously, Backseat Directors (Maybe Backseat Directing would work better?) is pretty frickin sweet.

Dammit Darth Praxus, I'm hooked on this musical now. I've been listening to it for the last couple days. So good.

I honestly can't listen to The Cat and The Moon without instantly getting happy now, damn Hobbit drinking songs.

I care next to nothing about Baseball. But this looks damn good.

Also Harrison Ford and Alan Tudyk. So yep, I'll be seeing it.

I guess I can also post this.  Basically the story behind this is the store I work at had this whole idea to run a internal video contest to raise awareness and ra-ra for Pink Shirt Day, which is this big anti-bullying thing where people wear pink shirts to show their support. Anyways. Me being me, said hell yah, and made this thing.

Probably not what they were expecting but well, that's what I do tongue Shot in a day and a bit, during work hours in our back warehouse area, with employees only, while they were also working. So needless to say very little production value was thrown into this. The...uh...set... was made by me out of cardboard and sharpie.

Shot on a GH2 with the out of the box movie settings cause I didn't have time to mess with them at all (Store camera) on the thurs/fri, and then edited and effects by me over the weekend, to have submitted for that mon.

So yeah, it's rough and quick, but it was a random thing I did, and that's what this thread is for tongue Enough blabbering, here it is.

And no, month and a bit later and they still haven't announced if anyone actually won the thing.

Update on the Cathedral I'm building in 100% vanilla minecraft survival mode on the multiplayer server I play on.

I just started building the roof yesterday.

It's getting to the point where this thing is so big, it's hard to get enough ground loaded into Chunky (The renderer) to fill an aerial shot like this. Oh well...
