Psycho would be a good choice since it fits the theme, is extremely influential, has a pretty interesting movie structure, and for god's sake guys, how have you not done a Hitchcock film yet?!

I also really feel like you guys have gotta do another Carpenter commentary, and with so much of his stuff being horror I think now would be as good a time as any. Like I said, They Live would be great because of the abundant social commentary on display. If you wanted to go more pure horror In The Mouth of Madness would be a good choice.

I hadn't considered Prince of Darkness......if you think you can explain what the fuck is going on in that movie you guys are welcome to go for it.

Someone mentioned Scream, I think I would almost rather you guys do that then Cabin in the Woods, because in many ways Scream is doing the exact same thing as Cabin in the Woods, except it got there 20 years earlier, and actually works as a scary horror film. Also you've kinda already done a Cabin in the Woods discussion.

Also, I second Blair Witch Project. If you're going to have a discussion about found footage horror, it makes a lot of sense to do the movie that started the trend. If you wanted to do a modern found-footage, I think Rec is a far more effective and interesting example than Paranormal Activity, both in terms of concept and execution.

Wait, SALEM'S LOT? The original 3 hour miniseries?!

An absolute favorite around Halloween is the original "Fright Night," (1985). I like the idea of a "compare and contrast" bit with the remake from 2011. Or, pair it with "The Lost Boys" (1987) to make for a sweet, blood-sucking, '80s Double Bill.

Brotherhood of the Wolf. It's French, so will be subtitled anyway.

House of the Devil is a good modern flick that hasn't been suggested yet, and it's on netflix instant, though it's quite a slow burn of a movie and I imagine a commentary would have to be ten minutes of "This is SOOOO 80's", about an hour of "This movie sure does take it's time..." and then 20 or so minutes of "SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT! FINALLY!!"

But I liked it. Very obviously low budget but really well made flick that doesn't focus on jump scares or gore. The blood is really being filmed, there's some nice makeup effects, camera work and lighting and it's actually kinda scary.

In the mouth of Madness is a good flick, but that one's got a pretty slow middle bit as well that might not be good for doing commentary over.

Psycho would be a good one, though kinda hard to add much to the discussion about that film (The Kane Dilemma).

You've also never done From Dusk Till Dawn. That's technically a horror film, right?

House of 1,000 Corpses. I crush on this pretty hard, as it's Rob Zombies writer / director coming out party.

You could talk about "Antichrist". Genital mutilation, slow motion porn and talking animals. What's not to love?

I suck at this, though. I never did enjoy horror flicks. I never could wrap my head around why I should be scared at all while watching them. The only one that actually got me feeling slightly uncomfortable, was Silent Hill, before it got ridiculous.
