It's entirely possible that the version you saw on T.V. wasn't. Though I honestly don't know what they could have cut out.

The part with the mouse. Totally didn't need that part, anyway.

That was amazing, guys, thanks. I hadn't laughed so much in a long time. After how shit my life has been in the past few weeks, I needed that smile

I don't like to throw this word around because it gets overused on the internet, but I don't think anyone on hand would disagree:

This recording session was epic.

The shawshank episode is clearly the best you guys have ever done.

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

That was the most fun I've ever had on DIF. If it's been topped, it would have been at the fancy live show at Meltdown. Thank you guys for being there and sharing it with us.

Dorkman eventually showed up, after the broadcast ended, and he was simultaneously bummed and fine. "I wish I had been there, but I've been there for the rest of the hatefests, so it was overdue."

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed to have missed an apparently magical commentary, but I was given the chance to stick around for SHAWSHANK and I declined, so I've got no one to blame but myself. But now I have something to look forward to hearing. smile

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

The great thing about the Wanted commentary was how it wasn't just hating on the movie. It was mostly, "How did this movie get made?" and "I see what you're doing, movie!" The script is all over the place, ripping off every action movie it can remember, and a lot of people worked really hard at spending other people's money on visual effects. The movie is on the edge of not taking itself seriously enough (which I think was the problem of Smokin' Aces) or too seriously (Transporter and Crank). It says, "You like stuff like this? Well here's a whole truckload of it! *Some assembly required."

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

I've got an idea!  how bout we do a contest.  Everyone try to come up with the lyrics to a song about a movie written to a tune of any bob dylan song.  Teague gets to pick the best three and plays them during the third anniversary show!

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

Teague doesn't seem like a Bob Dylan kind of guy. None of Dylan's songs include the words "wackity shmackity dooo".

Hahaha. Oh, Zarban.

Anyway, I like the idea well enough. Maybe not for the anniversary show, but for funsies, sure.

(My Dylan song of choice is The Times They Are A Changin,' because that's the one I know best.)

Re: Release, Record: 11/9

God help me, I enjoyed GI Joe. It was the right amount of over the top. Marlon Wayans pushed the amount of Wayans I can deal with in a movie but it was still entertaining.

I didn't catch the live show so I hope you guys decide to release this one.
