Re: DIF Community Project: DIF Road Trip!

If I remember correctly, wasn't it originally intended to include the names of people who drove cars/operated cameras? I recall Teague specifically asking me for that info.

Re: DIF Community Project: DIF Road Trip!

If y'all post names, I'll include them.

Oh, then for mine, please include my patient sister Kara Kovach.

Warning: I'm probably rewriting this post as you read it.

The sequence goes:

You get in, speak unintelligible Glaswegian as per the script, locator says "..."

Then Saniss gets in, speaks French, locator says "..."

You speak more, the locator says "...?"

Saniss says he's French, locator says "France"

You speak more, locator says "oh, Glasgow." Which for some reason I thought you were from.

Wanna build a tunnel going back and forth between Melbourne and Los Angeles and forget those UK people even exist?

We could have code names.

Realistically, it's the only practical solution.

Decoder rings, too.

I'll take this opportunity to say that I didn't understand one word of what fcw said in this video.

FYI. In the latest cut you posted, fcw's "Oh, Glasgow" comes before Saniss' "I'm french as hell."

And Saniss never actually gets a "France" title card.

And yeah... I think I managed to decipher "Shirt" out of everything fcw says.

Oop, sorry, missed that. Fair enough, that is where I'm from, but it's not where I live now. Happy to do it your way.

My job here is done.

(Although I turned my accent up to eleven for dramatic purposes, I'd hope that actual Scots on the forum should have a reasonable chance of understanding me. It'll be interesting to get feedback from them to see if I turned it up to eleventeen instead. And yes, a shirt was mentioned.)

Re: DIF Community Project: DIF Road Trip!

I do think I recognized "bugger" at some point. I might be wrong.

Re: DIF Community Project: DIF Road Trip!

I got:

"something something...nicked my shirt, bugger."
"Something...said he'd get his dad on me."
And I'm fairly certain the last line is "Turns out his dad's quite big."

Am I anywhere close?

Yes, you are anywhere close.

Re: DIF Community Project: DIF Road Trip!

If you're looking for more stuff to trim, you're welcome to cut my 3-sec part. Doesn't really add anything, I don't like how I shot it, plus we've already got Gregory representing Seattle.

Any chance for an exit by Seattle? I can hitch from there.

Also, rocket cars, rocket cars in the tunnel.

God loves you!

Re: DIF Community Project: DIF Road Trip!

My driver and camera man was Allen Coe.

Also, if you're gonna cut bullet3's bit, would you be cool with putting back in those extra seconds of me getting out of the car? In this cut, I feel it's a bit abrupt. I'm concerned if people don't notice it's me in that shot, then the fact that my shirt says "J-Dawg" on it won't be funny, which is why I wore it in the first place.
