Hi to everyone!

Well, as I explained in my anti-bot registration e-mail, I'm a fan from Spain who's been listening to WAYDM for a few months now. As I have loads of free time (or maybe I'm just irresponsible), I've listened to about half the shows or more.

I've been listening to the "friends in my head" all day long for a while now —I think it's high time I met everyone else.

Well, my main instrument would be piano. I took lessons for like a decade and have probably played for 11 years now. I used that as a jumping-off point to teach myself to sing, as well as play saxophone, bass guitar, guitar, and ukulele. I've had varying degrees of success on the self-taught instruments.

Unfortunately I don't have any creations to post since everything I've done has been live stuff. I was in a jazz combo for several years as lead alto sax, and we had our last performance a couple weeks ago. It went nearly perfectly. On top of that, every time I mess around with recording a song I'm incredibly tempted to scrap it because it "sucked." (I'm sure you've dealt with something similar anytime you've recorded music). It's something I'll have to get over at some point in life.

It's my self deprecating gamer tag. My friend and I were at a Street Fighter 4 tournament, and everyone there had hyper masculine gamertags like AbsoluteBeast or ManofWar...blah, blah, blah. We decided that we would choose gamertags that would be funny when announced on the loud speaker. I settled on WhiskeyDick, and my friend Kyle settled on Faptain America. We get laughs every tournament we enter in. Sorry to disappoint, but there is no embarrassing story.

Hey, so my first post ever in an introduction thread on a forum... if the instructions under "rules" still are valid, i kinda have a gun to my head

So I´m from Germany; my favourite colour is green... or blue; i like depressive folk music, jazz in small instrumentation, radiohead and modest mouse. My favourite website of all times is blogotheque.net, although i don`t understand a word of french.

I like movies too.

I watched next gen too in the 90 back when my father bought us a satellite dish to finally watch more than three channels... still have a love for the show, although i never rewatched any of the episodes.

And fireproof... please put the gun back on the mantle, it will be required there in act three...
