So... how's your penis doing Teague?
Seriously, get well soon. And next week, lets do horror movies. Nothing could possibly be scarier than Zarb's picture.
.... I still have a long week end ahead of me.
It's good that you've not lost your sense of humour.

Get well soon, Teague!
I got online for about 20 minutes of the "Few Good Men" broadcast before having to bug out. I cannot wait to hear it released.
Hopefully Brian substituted well for DiF's fearless leader.
And, there should be a law against people posting jagged things coming out of sensitive areas.
so how are you feeling now Teague? I hope you're doing okay.
Still hasn't passed, but the pain is gone for the most part. Doing fine, went back to work on Wednesday, doin' muh tings.
In the grand scheme of things, and if it wants to take its time, and not a cause pain, all well and good.
Just glad that it's not to bad anymore, but even still that was what almost a full week of pain? Yeesh.
Makes me knock on wood and count my blessings that I've not had any medical issues over the last few years, what being freelance and not wanting to deal with the extra outlay for insurance. Here's hoping the "discussion" of possibly offering me the a staff position actually bears fruit at some point.
Dude, get health insurance. I was the same way for a long time, and it was only by sheer happenstance that I finally got insured -- after four years without -- only a month before my gallbladder went haywire. When I had my surgery to remove it, they discovered it had ruptured and if I'd come in a week or two later it would have been life-threatening. And if I hadn't had insurance, I probably wouldn't have gone in at all because I would have been afraid to deal with the cost of care.
So yeah, I most likely would have died last year without insurance and it was basically just lucky coincidence that I had it when I did. Get it soon.
Oh that's definitely the plan.
I've realized that I am in the past few months in a position where my finances are actually stable, and that while I am working a freelance gig, it is reasonably long term for now, and even if it ended I have pretty stable options open to me.
Before I was always a bit ... concerned that once a gig wrapped up, I would be eating into my savings for month to month cost, so the extra expenditure was something that I was hesitant about.
I'm glad the UK has the NHS at times. When I had Carpal Tunnel in boths hands, I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't have had the operations. My hands were constantly sore and my grip was for shit. I was told it would get worse if I didn't get it fixed and it was bad enough as it was.
My mum's friend lives in New York and has Lupus and a brain tumour. The price of medicine is immense. She's planning to move back over here.....
In Australia we have Medicare, I don't know how a first world country functions without robust public health services.
IT FUNCTIONS JUST FUCKING FINE, FAGGOT SOCIALIST
no but really it doesn't
Pfft on your public health care system. I still pine for the days of private fire insurance. If you didn't have insurance, the fire brigade would come, but they wouldn't put out the fire. Survival of the fittest was the rule of the land!
Oh, the fun we had, rolling hoops with sticks past the poor children just getting off work at the textile mill.....
I like how this forum never fails to make me laugh
FAGGOT SOCIALIST
I should put this on my business cards.

It's true, I had to pay a lot for my penis.

Well, you were the one that just HAD to get the flamethrower attachment and laser scope.
Oh man, I'm gone for a few days and I miss the debut of a pyrotechnic penis...no fair.
Get well Teague.
erm, how can I ask if there's going to be a live commentary today without appearing all callus and insensitve as to Teague's current painful penile predicament ?
Heh, no commentary this week. Sorry guys. Back and potentially back twice next weekend.
I was going to say, I thought the buffer cupboard might be getting a bit bare.
- I'll get started on that bottle I'd been saving for commentary and rewatch Fast Five.
