Hey guys. My day job throughout 2011 was as the graphics supervisor for a few non-FX shows, dealing with all of the on screen animation, lower thirds, info boxes, diagrams, etc.. (Think Mythbusters.) There was visual FXy stuff occasionally, but for the most part, during daylight hours at least, I was toodling around in After Effects.

Here's some of my favorite animations from one of our shows, called Strangers in Danger. I like to disclaim that I'm not really an animator, and that all of these were done in on a "holy shit hurry" schedule, so they're not amazing or anything. Just fun.
