Oh, by the way - yeah, as of now, we're in cahoots with the world-famous TVTropes.org. From now on, Miki will be our new on-air Mikipedia and Tropes correspondent.

Be afraid.  Be very afraid.

Re: V for Vendetta

PAL conversion is up for those of you watching V in the original British.

As long as you can cite tropes like Brian can cite Star Trek, Michael can cite Star Wars, Trey can identify effects and design artists by their handiwork, Teague can do Teague stuff, and Eddie can cite Hollywood history, you'll be fine.

Wait, what IS Teague an expert at? Rotoscoping?

EDIT: Incisive question-asking!

PS GodDAMN tvtropes is a time-suck. It's like someone wrote down all the things in my head including stuff I haven't even thought of yet and then cited examples in all forms of media. I cannot begin to say how many hours I've spent there.

We can stop having Teague wear the dress then? Good.

Re: V for Vendetta

Hang on. Cause I want to be clear about this: Do we have to stop putting Teague in a dress?

And yes, for the three people on Earth who've been living in a cave for the past decade and also who are dead, TV Tropes is not the web site you want to go to unless it's the Friday afternoon before a three-day weekend.

Re: V for Vendetta

I just realized I still haven't seen this movie. Good lord I've seen New Moon but not V for Vendetta. I need to remedy this.

Re: V for Vendetta

Hey, Jeffery Harrell is back. Jeffery, I hear you like V for Vendetta and are sad to have missed an opportunity to provide more examples of why it's a solid movie.

Re: V for Vendetta

Oh yes, it's absolutely one of my most favoritest movieses in the whole world. I watch it every single day hugging my My Little Pony and eating a big old tub of hair.

Uh-oh.  Have you just left your imagination to our imaginations? I foresee hairlairious consequences, followed by terrible pun-ishment, followed by stream-of-unconsciousness utterations, followed by ???, followed by profit.  Or at least ice cream, possibly in a big old tub.

Hello there.  I have female parts, yes.  big_smile

For the record, before settling down with DiF, Miki hooked up with my podcast first! So there, and stuff! smile

Also, "Cadbury" and "Churchill" should be added to the growing Cs' of being British.

Re: V for Vendetta

And "Clotted Cream."

Re: V for Vendetta

I like this film a lot, but the 4am casting call for the chatroom was a little too early. Are later recording sessions still on the cards?

Also, hello new person.

Re: V for Vendetta

I feel that DiF aren't going to please everyone regarding recording times. If they record a show later then folk in the UK will be up late too. Sunday's show finished at 1.15am for me, it would be worse if they started later. Though, maybe they should once and a while so people from other countries can benefit.

I mean, after all, there are always the podcasts. If they are actually released big_smile
