Okay lads and lasses, it's Doctor Who Month! Starting off with 027 – DOCTOR WHO MONTH! – RTD Vs Moffat
There is an 'i' in Lassies, Owen. For that, I must take your 'honourary Scotsman' badge off you and you shall get booed at while folk wearing kilts throw haggis and tatties at your head. For shame!
It is, I was just winding Owen up. It's a thing we do
It's cool, it wasn't obvious, sorry
New episode, old Who. Well, classic Who- clicky
I'm not in this one, but don't let that put you off.
We'll be doing some more gaming editions soon. We're kicking that off with talking for an hour or 90 minutes about Star Wars games. Any takers for seats?
Yep, need to know the when on that one. If it is next week, I'll be finding out work schedule tomorrow.
Depending on the time, I'd love to join this one. From X-Wing to Force Unleashed

I'm just curious if anyone played this one?
Now that was a game I always wanted to play. But my parents never bought me a Nintendo so grumble grumble...
(I'm kidding and love my folks of course, they had got me a Sega Megadrive [Genesis to you Americans], and this was when system exclusives were the norm).
Back then we also had these things called computer games magazines, and these would have screenshots of various new games. The pictures of this side scrolling semi-platform ESB looked great.
Was it any good? Didn't they have a ROTJ game as well?
I don't remember if there was a ROTJ one. I actually just had that one and it was ridiculously hard. I got past Hoth once. I think there is an emulator site now so you might be able to give it a go.
I think this might work, hopefully no county restrictions:

Super Star Wars series was awesome, without a doubt.
As for a date, I don't have one yet. We're still plowing through Whovember, and then we're pre-recording Xmas stuff. This might be after new years, but I'm airing who's ready and willing

I still have a good mic (working on recording my Into Darkness review) and will make sure to set time aside to get good recording space. Star Wars gaming is one of those things that I have done for many, many years, across several platforms.
Heck, I just stopped playing Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Super Return of the Jedi on Gameboy was probably my first. Never got past the first level, but I loved the shit out of it.
Oh aye, loads of folk wanting to do a different show but not the Extended Edition. I ask for someone to join in on the Hanna-Barbera episode and nothing but games? Oh me, me, me!
(just messing, folks)
I would volunteer for teh Hanna-Barbera thing but my last watching was "Harvey Birdman" so it would be kind of warped, you know?
Besides, I played Star Wars games way more than I watched the Flinstones...maybe
Edit: Here is a quick article that has NES Empire Strikes Back as #6 of 10 irritatingly impossible old school games: http://www.cracked.com/article_15696_th … games.html

Hey, guess what? NEW EPISODE! Extended Edition Episode 29 - The Night Of The Doctor
*Jimmy's not in this one either, technically, but it's all kinds of geekdom and fanboy-jizz.
I sort of am, kind of, maybe.
(couldn't make the recording in time )
Episode 30! In which we continue WHOvember by discussing our favorite episodes, doctor moments... and silly stuff.
