Re: Um..Shia?
I just forgot that he recently shot a movie with Lars Von Trier. Maybe the craziness is contagious. Von Trier wears it better, though.

Is there a history of substance abuse? It seems like terrible decision after terrible decision - is anyone giving him advice at this point?
Well, he's found the one form of social media that isn't permanent...
Shia's plans need a little bit of trimming down, less plagerism, less apologies, etc, etc.
The guy's a wanker. This reeks of trying to control the message before it gets to court.
He even does it in that conversation! He has missed the point entirely, he has gone so far past the point it is but a dot to him.
To me it reeks more of Jr. High where there's that girl you really really like but you're being creepy about it so you scare her off and then you become super-extra-desperate creepy trying to win her back.
Er, I mean... I hear that can happen.
Oh lord and now there's this which I don't even.
“Authorship Is Censorship” – Bleeding Cool In Conversation With Shia LaBeouf
Hell with it. I'm gonna go to Texas for the weekend.
Yeah, that was the link I posted which prompted my statement of hating him. I don't hate. But he is obviously working backwards from a conclusion of rarefied air.

Remember Mel Gibson's career after his rant about Jews? Well this is worse, because, you know.

The scary part to me (and the worst part) is that he might be able to recover, somehow...well, it wouldn't surprise me if he did.
In order to recover from his foolishness, he actually has to stop, first.

Disagree, sort of. It will not affect him so far as audiences go, as I seriously doubt they're paying attention and/or will remember it. Will he have trouble getting work now? That's what remains to be seen.
The thing that burns me the most about this whole incident is the fact that not a couple weeks prior to it I was really excited for his next flick and hoping that he would land a couple of breakout roles that would show people what a good actor I genuinely think he could be.
But he's a fucking mental case, apparently, or he's having one of those episodes that happens right before they go missing for a few days and then someone finds the body.
Or finds them with a body and covered in blood...
Man, sounds like the script from a really deranged indy movie.
The old saying in politics is you never want to be caught with a dead girl or a live boy. What's the Hollywood equivalent?

M. Night Shyamalan.

I don't have my Celebrity Meltdown Checklist handy - anybody remember what's next? Is it Oprah, or rehab?
