Next, top five albums you listened to in 2010.  Not that came out in, or you bought in, but just ones you listened to the most in 2010.

In no particular order (hence the numbering):

1) 'Star Trek' by Michael Giacchino

2) 'Invincible' by Two Steps From Hell

3) 'The Art of Orchestration' compilation CDs from Scott Smalley's course

4) 'Doctor Who Series 5' by Murray Gold

5) something called 'Down in Front' by some bunch of geeky film geeks.

Since I haven't yet had the time to read the rest of this thread to see which questions have already been asked, I offer the following choice of questions from my top five list of top-five questions of the moment:

a) the top five gadgets in movies
b) the top five music cues in movies
c) the top five uses of a top-five list in movies
d) your favourite five movies starring a famous Belgian
e) the top five questions that haven't been asked yet

P.S., happy new year.

Re: Top Five thread.

Since vidina and I appear to have demonstrated a hitherto-unknown race condition in replying to questions on a forum, I shall attempt to overpower him by providing the obviousest to one of his earlier questions, which Eddie mysteriously avoided.

The question was: Top 5 funny names of people you've actually heard of/met in real life.

To which I say: Flex Plexico, not just because of his name, but because of his job.

Ahhhh but she's not technically part of the war of five kings. Also, TV Hodor never lost the magic powered Mcguffin character that he was carrying soooo...

Re: Top Five thread.

Weird question for me, because I don't necessarily enjoy cooking, but I enjoy eating the food I cook. With that end goal in mind:

1) Chicken Riggies
2) Chicken Divan
3) Bacon Sushi
4) Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole (No Boter Cooks Something episode... yet?)
5) Simple-ass pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs/sausage

And a prompt to maybe bump some more threads:

Top five discussion threads on these forums (with links to the threads; if the thread was lost in the DiFsplosion, re-start the thread yourself and link it here).

Boter, formerly of TF.N as Boter and DarthArjuna. I like making movies and playing games, in one order or another.

Re: Top Five thread.

Ooh, this is hard.

Is there a God and why?

I am pretty damn sure that my own contributions here do not hold up, but the thread as a whole was just a perfect example of the forum at its best: a lengthy and somewhat heated debate that never devolved into a flame war and ended with dirty limericks.

The Hyacinth Disaster
Most of this got eaten by the DiFpocalypse, but it was so fucking cool watching Writhyn take this all the way through to completion. The finished product is the result of behind-the-scenes labor that is now lost to history, but said product is still awesome so all's well that ends well.

Obscure personal questions
Couple this one with The Table, which basically serves the same function. I never get tired of the weird/amusing/profound little stories this community has buried inside us.

Announcement: Goodnight, Goodnight!
How the fuck was this four years ago Jesus fucking Christ.

Um . . . Shia?
Consistently forget the events this thread is a reaction to ever happened until I periodically go through old forum posts and rediscover the madness.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot the next prompt. Top five episodes of television. Just individual episodes—the context of the series doesn't have to matter.
