I've never had any problems following the typical message board format myself, but then again I have grown up with it. I found subreddits a tad confusing to get my head round at first, but I'm good with that now - although I do prefer the format of a message board.

I dunno, forums have never been an issue - but I'm more than open to a new approach.

Shame all the links are dead.

EDIT: I need to see The Letter after this review.

Not really had any experience with them, but I've heard Optoma are a good, affordable brand.

Rated on all three!

My computer could never handle UT back when it was a big thing, so I've never got the chance to give it a go. I'll give it a download, fancy a game?

If you took three pictures per frame instead of one, you could do this as panels of gifs, just for an added level of thing.

And then if you did those panels as full-screen thingies, you'd have a silent movie.

And then if you did the lines into a microphone, you'd have a stop motion movie.

...

I'm just saying. But I really like this and please do more.

Damn, it has been a long time since I've done some Lego stop motion. You're right, it may be time to bring it back.

Seeing as we're doing a song from Portal, I thought I may as well play the damn thing.

I don't regret it, that was awesome.

Never heard the song before this, so I've recorded myself playing along with the vocal line just to try and get to grips with it. I thought I may as well share it. It's not perfect by any means, but I think this is the approach I'm gonna take for the actual thing.

Still Alive Demo Thingy

In terms of vocals, I think it'd be cool if we had a few of us doing the lines back and forth. Also, I gotta do the cake lines 'cos singing about food is kinda my thing right now.

Tom already posted this in the EE thread, but I thought I'd whack it over here for some visibility.

Heads up: We'll be doing an episode to cover this place. As in, the reason why Extended Edition even exists. As such, I've already invited the lot (Teague, Brian, Michael and Trey), and I understand that getting Mike on... mic... ehm, will be impossible, but we'd gladly have the rest of you on to do one in the near future.

TL;DR - We're recording a DIF eulogy at some point soon and the invitation to join in is open. We usually record around 8PM UK time, so that would be 3pm/noon Eastern/Pacific (I think) for any US folk.

Is it just me that has a 'last day at school' feeling? I'm now imagining a version of American Graffiti starring every one of you here.

What?!?!

EDIT: Okay, now that I've listened to more than just the opening of the episode, I'll put my thoughts in here. This show reinvigorated my love for movies and brought me back in to the world of filmmaking. I went through three years of studying film at university, but my best teacher has always been this show. Seriously guys, not only has listening to this show been incredibly fun, it's been one of the most educational and informative things that has been part of my life. I co-wrote a feature length movie, something I never would have even thought I could do if it wasn't for this podcast. It has truly been an honour to listen to you bunch of awesomely talented and creative guys.

And this forum is something else entirely. I have never felt like part of a great community of individuals since back in the days of TFN Fanfilms. I lurked here for a long time before finally signing up and now I genuinely feel like part of the tribe. We've done some great stuff here together and I bloody well love each and every one of you.

Mischief motherfucking managed, indeed!
