This wasn't a good movie mind you, but it's been bugging me for years. It was about this group of siblings, each with ring that symbolized they were related. They fought crime and shit like that. Anyway, one of the siblings is a long lost brother and shows up and he's the fish out of water in the group. They end up having to find and rescue a kid who was chained to a pipe and given a sandwich full of dog food. I saw this shit ages ago when I was 7 and I have no idea why the memory remains.

It may have been a television series. I honestly don't know. What I do know is that it's driving me crazy on the IMDB plot keyword search.

I do not understand the hate for this movie at all. It paid off all the build from the previous two installments and delivered the best third act I've ever seen in any movie. Seriously, the last 45 minutes of this movie are absolutely fucking incredible.

@ewing - What kinda calls? Pranks? Angry rants? Emotional breakdowns?

Truth be told, I really don't remember the contents of the calls that well. I think I just say whatever is on my mind. I recall explaining to someone how "mom" and "mother" make sense but "dad" and "father" doesn't and how the word should be "dather".

I think I harassed Miki a week or so with my Mr. T impression from Rocky III. All I really remember is calling up and going "HEY WOMAN, HEY WOMAN" over and over again with some stupid shit thrown in.

And then about a month ago I drunk dialed Teague and that jerk didn't put him on speaker even though he was in the middle of a poker game with friends. Terrible manners on his part.

I'm 23, I'm a college student in Maryland and I want to be in the movie business one of the days. I haven't really decided what area I wanna specialize in but I do enjoy editing and cinematography. I'm honing my skills and getting the vocab and all that shit whilst I'm college. When I'm not working or watching movies, you can usually find me watching sports, playing video games or just hanging out with my friends. I don't lead an overly exciting life but I make up for it for all the trivial knowledge I've amassed over the years. Also, I like to get really fucking drunk and call people. I have no problems with hangovers whatsoever.

Ask me anything.

I don't know why you people are raving about this movie. The Avengers sucked. None of the original actors had a cameo. Actors like Patrick Macnee Ian Hendry or Honor Blackman or even Diana Rigg and Linda Thorson. Shit they even forgot about the 1998 film with Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman and Sean Connery.

Don't go see this so called Avengers movie! FUCK THIS SHIT!

Loved it but I have one issue. Nick Fury says the world needs remarkable people to come together to fight battles. Tony Stark is one of these people because he has a suit of armor more advanced than any other piece of technology on the planet. Only one other person has the technology.

"Kevin" makes me laugh every time I see it.

I assume Kevin is most likely an analog of "Jason", but I prefer to imagine that somewhere in the menagerie there's some Lovecraftian horror inexplicably named Kevin.

Well...

Among the various possible monsters on the control room white board, one of them is just listed as "Kevin." Although Kevin is never seen, in the tie-in book The Cabin in the Woods: The Official Visual Companion co-writer Drew Goddard said that Kevin was meant to be "a sweet-looking guy who seemed like he might work at Best Buy--until he dismembers people."

This might actually be funnier.

Spoony is a cunt; I cannot stand any of these "internet reviewers" except Red Letter Media and Cinema Snob. Anyway, this douchebag over at the Village Voice spoiled the ending for Cabin in the first sentence of his review and supposedly mocked people over being upset, but I haven't come across that yet. The review and the comments are here:

In the omitted part of that quote, "and pretending to commit suicide so that people will feel bad about how awful they are to you", is he referring to a specific incident or something? I know people do stupid shit on the internet but I haven't heard of anyone faking their death over insults in a Firefly argument.

One of the film professors on campus asked me to submit something to the yearly festival about a week ago. With no good ideas and a lack of time, I decided to just pick something from my personal portfolio. Out of the handful of stuff I've shot, I still consider the opening to this to be my favorite of the bunch. The festival rules specify a constraint of 5 minutes so I chopped down this entire video to just the opening 30 seconds of the TV show credits. Not much has changed but I tweaked the cast fonts and added a production stamp to the beginning of the video. It now reads as a reel somebody found laying around in the archives of a studio rather than a mockumentary. I put it up on YouTube but that shit kills standard definition quality, so if you wanna see it as I intended, just click the mediafire link.
