Moon and Indiana Jones are tied for most-votes, so far.
I cracked up when I heard it the second time.
I pass out at about 1:56:00.
In spot number one is Troops, naturally.
Spot number two is RvD II, which, for those playing the home game, is Ryan and Dorkman's movie.
Spot number four is Pink Five, which is Trey's movie.
Spot number eleven was surely The Injured Stormtrooper, but who's counting. That's Brian's movie.
We're cool! (Also, the place Ryan and Trey were interviewed is my apartment/Cauhenga Labs/Down in Front studios, not Ryan's place.)
Alrighty, I made a very retarded survey with an online service (that was pretty easy, so I recommend them) based on the suggestions from the sticky thread, so we can filter the ones a lot of folks care about to the ones only a few do.
As the survey asks, pick five.
After you submit, it'll take you to a splash page asking you to register. You don't need to, I'll get the results either way. The service doesn't have a public-view option, so intermittently I'll post results so you can see how everything's going.
I actually stopped drinking after and as a result of this episode.
Smoking, and soda, too. What up.
Empire is happening.
I welcome anybody who wants to make a poll and post it on this board. We don't have poll-style threads on this boardsystem, though.
I'd like to apologize for my presence on this episode. I start off pleasantly buzzed, and eventually become totally wrecked and pass out. That won't happen again, folks, I'm sorry.
That aside, hey, it was Armageddon!
Dilated Pixels put together this trailer for the new LOTR game a few months ago. I spent about seven weeks on it, building assets and random other stuff.
The movie is basically made to figure out. Insofar as that, I don't like it, for the same reason I don't like Mulholland Drive.
On the other hand, Carruth isn't David Lynch. Which is about the highest compliment that can be given.
Jeffery is really into Primer.
Gay cup?
Well. I have no objections to this. That's just a movie right there.
Anybody, thoughts? We could start drafting in a detailed 9-part treatment now.
I have been told those who enjoy Philip Glass might also enjoy this thingy.
Who ratted us out to Whedonesque.com? We're on the front page.
I'm not gonna kill ya, I'm just gonna cut on ya until you tell me.
From the makers of The Truman Show.
You can find it here, and I heartily suggest registering over at NP2k and commenting on this and the next four movies being released this week. (It's their fifth film festival, and mine is the first short to get released!)
Of course, you can also comment here.
Now on Youtube. Bam.
EDIT: More info in the aforelinked thread and this one on TFN.
Thanks sir.
I don't know about the joke, but I know it's funny as hell and I plan to repeat it until it becomes annoying.
I don't think so, nothing you wouldn't gather from the trailer. We mostly discuss the portrayal of dreamscapes in both movies, not the plot. Inception is basically a heist and we never really talk about that, to my knowledge.
I like Zarban's idea.
