OH GOD MY EYES
Really it's my fault for clicking a link to a website called "Dinosaurs Fucking Robots".
Hang on, let's consult the judges.
...
We're going to allow it!
*cheering*
They've talked about this several times on Down in Front, so I've been thinking about how many other films succumb to this problem.
The first one that came to mind is Jurassic Park 2. The only interesting aspect of that film is the idea of dinosaurs running loose in the city, but they only play that card for fifteen minutes at the end. An entire movie about tracking down rampaging dinosaurs would have been a vast improvement.
Because the publishers assumed that American kids would be too dumb to understand what a "Philosopher" was.
The Body Snatchers commentary has made me highly suspicious of these little "breaks". WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY COULD BE UP TO.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
Alas, My Relative, What is Your Current Position?
Main character walks into a bar and asks for a beer. The bartender immediately knows exactly which brand he's talking about and gets it for him.
Hey, mine isn't sycophantic at all!
*mumbles*
It's "People with Red Hair".
From what I've seen so far, you post things and people see them. So far, it has one glorious feature that Facebook and Twitter don't: It's douchebag-free!
EDIT: Oh, and I can group people together and such. I have a Down in Front group. So far it's the only one with people in it.
Post retracted. I didn't know what I was talking about. I really shouldn't post things for people to read when I don't.
The whole live chat system is great the way it is, and I truly mean that.
Also, I've used Google+ for all of five minutes now, and I think I'm going to sit on my account until it goes public.
Ooh, great idea! TinyChat does get annoying after a while. doctorsubmarine@hotmail.com, friend.
It's on Starz, right? In that case, I'll wait for it to come to Netflix streaming. I don't watch Torchwood, but I'm a big Who fan.
And there was much rejoicing.
Just because she's read more books than Harry doesn't make her better at magic. She says as much in Movie 1. She may be a quick thinker, which is fine, but I don't see her completing the mission without Harry.
Watched Clerks for the first time today. I thought that the script was really good, but only the actors playing Dante and Randal could handle the dialogue. The rest of them seemed to be stumbling over every word.
By the way, I haven't seen him in any other movies. Does Jason Mewes start being a good actor at some point? Cuz he was terrible in this.
THIS THREAD IS COLLAPSING IN ON ITSELF! EVACUATE!

American Beauty
The Great Vehemence of the Redeemer
Actually, that description reminds me a lot of the film 1408 (totally underrated, btw). It has nothing to do with a game, but it definitely has a "destroyed room" theme.
Maybe Virtuosity, with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe? Has a virtual-reality thing going on, and it's from the mid-'90s.
Suggestions for Dif-tober this year:
- The Exorcist
- The Shining
- Misery
If you're gonna do Hidden Fortress, you might as well do Seven Samurai as well. I mean, it basically invented the modern action movie.
I never saw the film Stay Alive, but from what I saw in trailers and such, this seems a lot like what you're describing.
Well, after what happened with Shawshank, I doubt that we'll be getting that anytime soon.
