Ahh, Wayne and Shuster were well before my time. I don't think they even have reruns/specials on anymore.
I've started watching A Bit of Fry and Laurie, kicking myself for just starting it now.

That's pretty much what I figured, based upon the documentary I watched about Blackadder. I haven't watched A Bit of Fry and Laurie yet, as there aren't any legal means for me to do so (that I know of.)

I don't know of a prominent Canadian double act (Terrence and Philip don't count.)

I'm curious, how big was Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry?

Teague's introduction summarized my thoughts about the movie. I watched it for the first time Saturday night (in the dark, if that counts) and I felt the movie building to something that didn't really pay off for me.

Rest in peace Neil. I suppose after going to the moon, death is about the only great adventure left.

I would pay for a commentary filled with drunken babbling, rants and insanity, i.e Phantom Menace

@Vidina
Thanks for the tutorial. I haven't really done to much experimenting with video yet, but it is something I've been wanting to try.

Depending on the clouds, I might try taking some long exposures of the night sky tonight. Trying to focus the damn camera with a tiny viewfinder is a bitch though, didn't have much luck in my first attempt.

Watching the livestream last night, I felt an inner excitement I've never felt before. I know that this has been done before, in the 70's no less (which blows my mind away.) But seeing an event such as this, as it happens, gives you a feeling I can't even describe. It's a precursor for even more monumental and awe-inspiring events. This is the warm-up for humanity's next leap forward. And to call this amazing piece of technology just a warm up for things to come, well shit. Very soon, we will be going boldly where no man has gone before...

Ugh, that guy was drinking Budweiser. Poor man

Just a standard Canon Rebel T2i on a tri-pod. Exposure of 10 seconds, can't remember the ISO.
