Added plot twist, from outside suggestion:

"Maybe one of them falls for someone on the list. They fight about it and one of them dies as a result."

Tagline: Destroy What Destroys

It's been a while, FiyH. Can you ever forgive me?

A thought popped in my head today and the little nugget grew. I thought I'd share this idea I had for a film I think would be incredible and will never happen. Please discuss and share your own.

Christopher Waltz and Ryan Gosling star in a drama thriller about father-and-son serial killers.
The film is based somewhere in the East Coast, in the loosely-based early 90s.
Father and son are blue-collar types, very intellectual but prefer the simple life and pleasures.
Wall Street types fucked them over, lost their investment and they as a result lost the simple pleasures they had in their flourishing land and farm. Vowed revenge.
They disguise themselves as upper class and infiltrate high society in order to gain access to the types they deem "worthy of punishment" and pick off each of these men.
They begin with a "list" but the more they work their way through, the more they not only discover more they deem "worthy", but they discover something in themselves that makes them realize that they are good at this...they enjoy it.

I am so immensely into this.

On the next "Friends in Your Head": Listen to Meghan, Paulou, and Eddie discuss quantum physics and the metaphysical soul for 2 hours.

It absolutely blows my mind that they are able to get away with the level of disturbing topics and visuals on a basic cable network and both the makeup & effects teams and cinematographers deserve all of the awards for making damn near every death scene framable.

Melancholia. I hate that film. I get exhausted just thinking about the effort it would take to properly explain why.

A friend once referred to this movie as "Lars Von Trier's Why Did I Get Married?"

Recently went to an 80's action movie themed party.
I decided to make a "They Live" mask. Took me about 2 days, but involved cutting up 2 cheap plastic Halloween masks, hot gluing them to reform the shape, then sculpting a bone structure out of paperclay and hand painting the whole thing. I think it turned out pretty damn well.

There's a weird line with "Worst movie ever"
For example, I have a love for going through Netflix and finding horror movies with a half star rating.
There are some....is gems the word?

As for big budget films, there's only one film I ever walked out of and that was "Man In The Iron Mask" with Leonardo DiCaprio. Ugh.
More recently, I had a moment of masochism and sat through the entire film "That's My Boy". There were times when I was literally physically cringing.

Meghan, I think I heard you interviewed on Dan Savage's podcast a few years ago.
Could that be true?

Getting to have a chat with the Prophet Savage would be lovely, but unfortunately has not happened.

I really am proud of you, sir.

After so much self-depreciation, it's nice to see you suck it up and go for it and show off what we all knew you had in you.

I cannot wait to hear the final result.

If by "vouch" you mean "defame and hide from."

You can't hide from me. I know where you live. Well, actually after that whole 4chan debacle so does much of the internet.

Sup punks?

My name is Meghan and after enjoying (???) several years of IRL friendship with that oft-bearded semi-tyrant Teague, I thought it was due time for me to come join the internet masses and meet his friends.

A little about me? I have blue hair. It's a thing. Don't make it weird. I sell sex toys for a living. My most often used phrases are "I know that guy" or "I can find you a guy to do that" or "Of course I'll have more whiskey."

I'm a massive cinephile, spending many of my free days sitting in theaters (and living rooms) and am most fond of psychological horror, slasher films and dark, cerebral, think-about-your-life-and-feel-bad films.

I look forward to your banter, and I look forward to finally getting to pick on Teague in front of his friends.
