Hug your threads people, you never know when you'll see them for the last time.

I felt compelled to listen to this episode on the way to work this morning after reading The Article.

The stark contrast between the public perception of Joss Whedon then versus now is staggering. The cult of personality that surrounded the guy seems almost absurd in hindsight. It really felt like he could do no wrong - how wrong we were

Never trust an American that uses the term "going to the loo".

Probably won't be able to make this one. I'll possibly be able to jump on a bit later though.

So...how we doing this? big_smile

This totally works.

These are great. I bloody love 'em. What's your technique?

Should be manageable - key word being should!

Let's do this!

Today is the day!

I've only had the chance to listen to the first ten minutes on the way home from work, but I had the biggest grin on my face (behind my mask) hearing his voice again. He seems to be going for a lighter, more fun-loving take on The Doctor, which is a really nice surprise! I can see them taking his story in a darker direction down the line, leading to the Nine we all know from 'Rose' onwards.

I actually started writing something about my relationship with Star Wars, but then I realised that it would end up being a series of essays separated into different time periods and well, nobody's got time for that.

What do you mean? 1999 was only...

Oh god...

I could probably write out an entire thesis about my feelings towards Star Wars, but instead, I will say just one thing about The Clone Wars.

I told you so.

I never thought it would happen, but I'm hearing The Ninth Doctor's voice again.

I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!

Hello there!

Yes Boter, yes!!!

Most people don't attempt to sing songs that aren't in their native language or barely even in their range.

I am not most people.

Pray for me.

So, who wants to start a band called Daffokill?

That scene was 100% not in any theatrical cut of the film, although it may have been released online to promote the Blu-ray release.

Hey K Thread, it's been a while! I've brought somebody along, is that okay?

Good to see you back, Doc!

I haven't seen Prince of Egypt since release, I really should revisit it sometime.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say another shed.

As much as I'd love to do Hitchhikers, we're probably better off doing something public domain.

Ideally, we need something that's not too long, has a decent amount of characters, and is something we could have a bit of fun with. I'm coming up blank right now though. I was thinking Flatland, but most of it is just first-person narration.

12 Months Old

The big 12 months, has it really been that long?! It's not his birthday until Tuesday, but apparently he's 12 months old? I dunno, ageing babies is weird. Anyway, this was actually quite a difficult shoot that had to get cut short. We didn't get started until later than I would have liked, so he was pretty tired and cranky, resulting in a lot of pictures of a kid that doesn't look one bit happy about being there. I'm planning a more birthday themed shoot for Tuesday, so hopefully, that one will go a bit smoother!

Awesome images! I've not had the best of luck myself. I can't really travel anywhere, and there's a big, brightly lit construction project just round the corner which isn't doing any favours. Gonna keep trying though!

EDIT: Clear night and was able to take this from my front door!

I have also become obsessed with Hamilton lately. I sent this over to a friend and thought it totally fits the spirit of this thread.

I was wondering what this movie would look like if it wasn't so goddamn cyan, so I dragged a few screencaps into Photoshop and dropped that slider right down.

I did a little bit of extra work for a couple of the shots, but for the most part, it was literally just dragging down the cyan slider in Selective Color. I don't even mind the overtly cyan look in some places, but it's used so much that it the effect just becomes diluted.
