SCREAM, because it really is a good movie.
28 DAYS LATER, because you need an ACTUAL reference to Going To The Mansion.
THE RING, because it's a good film, that ...isn't scary at all, nevermind that.

I suck at this, though. I never did enjoy horror flicks. I never could wrap my head around why I should be scared at all while watching them. The only one that actually got me feeling slightly uncomfortable, was Silent Hill, before it got ridiculous.

So, it's like the previous attempt? Lackluster and too flashy for its own good?

MI2 is what scared me away from watching the third one for years. Finally did, though, a year or so ago. I don't remember any details, but I remember it being heaps better than the Woo-trainwreck.

Also, 4 was pretty good. I'd still not go as far as calling it an MI-film, basing my MI-film-data on the first one. It didn't have plot twists and paranoia, the two things that really made the original so great.

Martin Freeman, yes. I read Morgan. Now that would change things.

Hey! I'm single!

No, wait, I'm not. And I live in Norway.

Is she hot? You know, hypothetically speaking and all.

Welcome aboard!

So, I've been checking out too much cover collabs on youtube for my own good, including "walk off the earth" stuff, and I've gotten inspired.

I pitched the idea in the chat, and I know both Saniss and Teague are interested. The latter might not get around to it due to time constraints, but Saniss is up for it, and knowing all of you are capable of helping out one way or another, I'd like you to join in.

What song would we do, you asked? "Castle of Glass" by Linkin Park.
Why? It's a beautiful song with several tracks, and it's not classical LP either. It's pretty laid back.

EDIT:
I'm up for suggestions for songs, too. Granted I'll be able to throw vocals at it, of course.

What songs I'm *currently* in the mood for, for example:
Linkin Park - Castle of Glass
All-American Rejects - Another Heart Calls(A tad complicated this one, but calls for a second vocalist, too)
Pendulum - Witchcraft / The Island pt.1 (albeit a rocked out, even acoustic type version)
Hoobastank - If I were you
Rise Against - Make it Stop
Skillet - Awake and Alive
Tool - Vicarious

I myself will be laying down vocals, and if need be, some acoustic guitar tracks. Saniss' said he'll do electric guitar, percussion or vocals, too.

Who's up for it? It'll be fun, and I'll do all the HARD work anyway. (y'know, comping it all together, etc.)

NOTE: As for recording quality; I'm not picky. You don't need to have a studio in handy(I only have a USB mic, or my Canon T2i for this anyway), but if you get better results without the use of an in-camera microphone, feel free to do so.

Also, her name isn't Oswin, it's Sarah(as the companion, at least)

I'm more amazed by the fact that Owen Ward watched 'Collateral', and fucking TOM CRUISE didn't give it away.

Asylum was great. It did come with a very interesting surprise, though:

SPOILER Show
with the appearance of Jenna Louise Coleman, which wasn't due until the Christmas special. I'm very interested in how they're going to pull this one off, considering it's the same actor, but a different role.
Also, you should definitely check out "Pond Life" if you haven't already, before viewing Asylum.

But that's like saying "the doctor, the widow and the wardrobe" is ok because it's got Bill Bailey. It is not. It's horrible. I only didn't mention it because I might be neglecting it.

There weren't exactly many left to see more of either, to be fair.
But yeah, Love and Monsters is cool. I also enjoy Blink and Turn Left quite much, obviously. I think my least favorite episodes to date is Midnight Terrors, Fear Her and The Long game.

I'm afraid I've yet to see anything older than the 1996 Paul McGann movie, so all my answers will be from 8 and up.

9: 'The Empty Child'/'The Doctor Dances' -I know, it's cliché, but if it's good, it's good.
10: 'The Girl in the Fireplace' and 'The End of Time'. The first, because I love a goofy, yet great story, Sophia Myles, and a damn horse. The latter because ohmygod they couldn't end 10's run in any better way. Sob.
11: 'The Eleventh Hour' and 'The Doctor's Wife'. First because I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Smith's first take on the character. Amelia/Amy is a great addition, and the run-through of all 10 doctors ending on Smith was great. The latter, for somewhat obvious reasons. What happens when you make the Doctor mad? He ends you.

Favorite regeneration thus far: 10->11. Admittedly, I've not seen many, but the two-parter leading up to Tennant's leave was heartbreakingly awesome, and thrown into classic silliness by Smith's entrance. I love it.

The last question here, I've difficulties answering. The only story I can remotely think of not being that good, which I enjoy, is Peter Davison's 'Castrovalva'. Albeit incredibly slow-paced, the concept of it, and general execution of it really captured me, and I'm slowly working on plowing thru 5's run, and completing the show from there on up.

I suppose I'll get around to the first 4 in due time, but it's hard to get in the proper mind set for it, what with it being low budget even back then.

Dodgson's got it down, if you ask me. All those options are great options, and should all come with a price tag, going from $9.99 and up. Meaning you don't have to donate, but if you do, you get stuff from it, be it a simple mention/twitter-pimpage, or even the ability to skype in and join in on an entire comment.

(EDIT: I did, obviously, already get a cool mention in Thor, which I didn't pay for, but that's DiF's own doing)

kidding aside though, the tutorial is real. So is the functionality. All you need to do is install magic lantern. It's free, easy, and come tomorrow, it will even be released in a brand new version smile
