Teague be jammin' on the pink five visual effecting
Making hotties light it up, under Trey's directing
Kickstarter timetable doesn't want to wait.
With a 9 to 5, after effects is keeping him up late.Road trip, car crash, premiere revolt
Make time for Cloe or get ready for assault
Road trip, in time, life gets in the way
Either way prepare for an Internet spray/whitey
I start editing tomorrow. Best case scenario is that I get it done by Christmas.
An update indeed!
As of yesterday, I have officially fallen on my sword having failed everyone, and given all of the materials to Ewing to edit and release.
Sorry everyone. My projects are bad and I feel bad.
Ewing's fault now!
I start editing tomorrow. Best case scenario is that I get it done by Christmas.
If you want me to look at any cuts, I'd be happy to.
I've gone through every check and double check before I begin editing this beast. I only have a few things to clear up before I actually start.
1. DK, Drew, Seth and Spork all have actions or dialogue listed in the script, but there is no footage for any of these people up on the server. Teague is working on the Seth situation. As for the rest of them, were they replaced at some point by other users? If so, who are they and where can I get their footage? If not, where is the footage for these people?
2. Gregory's footage is broken. The zip folder reads as corrupted and cannot be repaired with WinRAR. I suspect this is due to the massive 2 GB size of the contents. However, it's possible that the problem is exclusive to my computer. To fix it, regardless of the scenario, I need Gregory to re-upload his files in a smaller size. Alternatively, another user could download the folder, shrink the size and re-upload it if Gregory is AWOL.
3. I cannot be everywhere on the internet at once. This is where I need you. There are three things you can do to help:
If you know the answers to the above questions, post them immediately.
If you see any of the aforementioned people on the forum chat, the live stream, instant messaging or whatever you use to communicate, direct them to this thread immediately.
If you have any advice or ideas on how to expedite the process, post it immediately.
Nobody is at fault but the project has sat around unfinished for far too long. It's time to get this shit done.

Will do. I'll let you know once I get off the ground.
The "drew" footage was uploaded at phone cam resolution for easy logging, but shot in HD. I think I still have it all. There was lots of driving around the city with iJim stuff, too, if you want any of that. I might be able to Dropbox it a bit at a time, or ftp to the location of your choice.
---edit---
~15 gigs total footage, about 5 of which are my takes, only about 2 of which are any good.
I also have iJim's exit from the car in HD 60i at a bout 1 gig, but I could trim the 6 minute file down quite a bit.
I could also downconvert and/or process it into reasonably-sized clips.

Convert that shit to .wmv or something small. As long as you don't kill your quality completely, you should be fine. The final product isn't going to be bigger than the YouTube player.
Spork hasn't filmed yet, because things sorta trailed off for a while, and I don't think DK ever got me his footage, so he's also not gonna be there.

Links may not work for a while, I'll update this post when I'm sure...then again I may have already forgotten, the links are fine and as you sit reading this in the future this whole sentence is wasting time for all of us.

7:!5 pm central...1 hour remains.
8:40 pm c...21 min...don't ask me I didn't build the damned thing.

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/29628015/Drew% … yD%27s.wmv
about 3 hours from 9pm central, Saturday, for these.

I tweeted Greg, he doesn't think he still has the footage but might be able to reshoot.

Let me know, I compressed it too much but it's still watchable. If your output format is less than 720p, nobody will notice. You cold also shoot me in and out points and I could only provide what you really want at higher quality.
It's less than 720p so don't worry about it. I should have a very very rough first minute to show by the end of the week.
whoa, this is actually still happening!?
Teague, let me know if you need me to bring my camera back over, it "should" still have my footage on it. Haven't really used it in a while so can't quite recall if I wiped it off or not .... don't think so though.
I do, actually, was gonna ask next I saw ya. If you could even ZIP and upload to the DIF FTP, that'd save the trip! (Otherwise, maybe bring it with ya to Ryan and Miki's this weekend?)
sure thing.
<fingers crossed>
I'll check it when i get home.
Whatever works easier for you, Seth.
GOOD NEWS: I'm done with college for the semester and focus all my time on getting this shit done.
BAD NEWS: My computer is being a stubborn dick while editing, which means I probably need to edit elsewhere, something that I won't be able to do for another week due to my car in the shop.
It will get done though, I promise.
I'm telling you, this project is cursed.
Perhaps it's too awesome.
You can do it! Hooray! Encouraging Alex!
